Sweep was found abandoned in a derelict building with his brother Sooty, he was very timid to begin with and at one point we thought we might lose him. Luckily he made it and is now healthy and happy with a strong appetite and in a complete turnaround is definitely the leader of his little group (Billy and Amber). Sweep is lovely with other dogs (though can play a little exuberantly) and gets on very well with people, he is also fully vaccinated. He’s definitely come out of his shell a lot more and loves haring around the playground but that doesn’t mean he isn’t happy lounging around or having a quiet stroll. Sweep is always the first to be seen when people approach the sanctuary, why? Because he likes to strategically position himself on the top of his dog kennel! He is a dog with a high energy level and would love to find a home in which he can use up this energy by lots of exercising and stimulating his brain. In the right home Sweep will be absolutely besotted with his family and work hard to please them. He is a little over 2 years old (as of July 2019) and will be neutered before adoption. He is medium to large size.
