Elvis is one of five older puppies at the sanctuary, they are about 5 months old now (as of July 2019). Unfortunately they were dumped here in sacks so didn’t have the best start in life but they have grown in both stature and confidence since then and are much happier now than their arrival. Elvis is the most reserved of the group, he often sits back and evaluates a situation before deciding whether or not to join in but he is also less vocal (especially than his neighbours!). He is very affectionate and sees people as safety despite what he’s been through. We’ve recently been getting him used to leads and harnesses. He was nervous at first, but is making quick progress and has been bounding about in our play area with his siblings and walking in the fields around the sanctuary.
If you spend a little time with him you can’t help falling in love with Elvis! If you want to adopt him please send us a message!
